Please forgive me for speaking of myself so much here. I really don't want to draw attention away from the Lord, but allow me to share what I've learned...and see if I don't speak more of the Lord and His word than I do of myself...
I have learned that the human race is part of a creation, and the Creator revealed Himself and other truths to us through the Bible. I have learned that the Bible is the most truthful book ever written, at least in its original languages. It is, in fact, totally without error, and the Creator, being sovereign, would not allow His timeless message to mankind to be forever and irretrievably corrupted (Ps. 12:6-7). I do believe, however, that it is possible for some translations to be corrupted as the Creator warns against doing time and again. I endorse this version of the Bible...
The Creator is holy, ALL humans have sinned and deserve to be separated from our Creator for all eternity, and only because of our Creator's infinite love has a Way been made by Him that we can have a relationship with Him. That Way is His Son Jesus Christ. Eternal life is knowing God the Father and Jesus Christ, whom He sent. We can be cleansed from our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ by personally responding to His invitation to have a relationship with Him. Many people down through history have found that His blood is able to cleanse the worst sinner's heart white as snow. No sins of any person are more powerful than the blood of Jesus Christ.
I have never, to my knowledge, attended a church that preaches the Bible as completely as I would like. I believe God still deals with His people as He did while the Bible was being completed about 2000 years ago. That means that He has not ordained spiritual gifts to change yet, (Romans 11:29, Ephesians 4:8) neither has the least of His commandments changed (one of which can be found in First Corinthians 14:34), and neither has the Lord's day been changed from Saturday to Sunday. Even apostles, as the original language speaks of (I looked myself), are not necessarily obsolete. Anyone who is offended by this position is should recognize that they hold to their position, not because of scriptural teaching (as they may think), but because they are offended at scriptural teaching...not a good reason to base any doctrine on. We are to always be established in the dispensation that existed during the lives of the New Testament writers:
"Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in rememberence of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth"
II Peter 1:12

But I feel free to attend churches that are less than perfect because the Bible teaches us to accept those who don't believe exactly the same as us (Romans 14:1-15:7).
The main beliefs I insist on are that the Bible is without error and that our only hope for eternal life is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ (just as the Bible says).
Dear Friend...
How did I get to be so radical?
